In Their Own Words

The King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS) is the leading resource for philanthropic giving to Europe and Africa - and beyond. Over the past 3 years, KBFUS facilitated close to $100 million in grants, providing much needed funding to hundreds of nonprofits working in a diversity of fields. KBFUS enables U.S. donors to support their favorite causes and organizations overseas, and provide European and African nonprofits with cost-effective solutions to raise funds in the United States. KBFUS facilitates grants to nonprofits based in Europe and Africa, and with Myriad — the alliance for borderless giving — to charities in Asia and Canada as well. Stay tuned as we develop further solutions for giving to other parts of the globe. KBFUS is a ‘philanthropy architect’ – we craft personalized solutions for one-time gifts, recurring donations through Donor Advised Funds, planned giving with Legacy Funds, and gifts of artworks to museums overseas. KBFUS is a U.S. public charity within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donors are eligible for a U.S. income tax deduction for their contributions, to the extent permitted by U.S. tax law.
