Palak Joshi

Palak has over 10 years of experience, both in India and the US, ranging from creating and managing programs in nonprofit start-up environments to large national nonprofits. In her previous role as a philanthropy advisor at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, she advised high net worth individuals in their philanthropy to maximize impact. She also launched and managed the donor circle for safety net in response to the housing crisis in the bay area.

Palak started her journey in the nonprofit sector with Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) that worked on creating social services for women living in the slums and remote villages in India.  She completed her Masters at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India in Environmental Planning.
