Asian impact-making is characterised by a unique blend of deeply rooted values, hands-on involvement, and a growing focus on collaboration to address systemic issues – leveraging various capital mechanisms including and beyond philanthropy. In this session, be part of the conversation with impact and philanthropy leaders Neha Nazir, Founder & CEO of Rabia Trust Hospital; Meena Flynn, UNICEF International Council Member and Co-Head of Global Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs; Jaff Shen, Co-founder and CEO, Leping Social Entrepreneur Foundation, Publisher & Editor in Chief of Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR) China, and Chairman of the Board of B Corps China; and Amrin Amin, Head of Corporate Development at Temasek Foundation, who exemplify strategic and intentional giving, adopting hands-on approaches that align personal and corporate values with philanthropic goals to achieve impact at scale across the Asian region. Neha Nazir is a third-generation social impact entrepreneur and philanthropist from Faisalabad, Pakistan, with over seven years of experience in founding and leading ventures across healthcare, wildlife conservation, and sustainable food systems. She spearheads two non-profits and three entrepreneurial ventures, each tackling critical challenges in public health, food security, sustainable water solutions, and animal welfare.
Neha is the founder of Rabia Trust, a 200-bed hospital that provides universal healthcare through preventive outreach programs and in-house curative care, ensuring access to medical services for underserved populations. She also leads Al-Azeem Foundation, an animal rescue and rehabilitation non-profit dedicated to protecting stray animals as well as wildlife in captivity.
Beyond philanthropy, Neha has built three commercial enterprises in institutional catering, clean drinking water distribution, and food services- encompassing fast food and pantry solutions. These enterprises are structured to generate long-term financial sustainability for her non-profits, allowing them to expand their impact.
Guided by her core values of integrity, equality, and compassion, Neha’s work blends philanthropy with entrepreneurial solutions to drive lasting systemic change. She is committed to creating holistic, self-sustaining solutions that address social, economic, and environmental challenges—aiming to heal and empower those suffering from adverse circumstances, and fostering a more equitable and compassionate world.

Meena Flynn is co-head of global Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs, as well as co-head of One Goldman Sachs, the firm’s cross-business client strategy. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 and was named partner in 2014. Meena graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from George Washington University with a BA in Economics. She now serves as a member of the university’s Athletic Advisory Council. Meena is also a chartered financial analyst. Meena and her husband Ron are members of the UNICEF International Council and are founders of an inclusive UNICEF initiative to support hundreds of thousands of children with disabilities in India. They live in New York City with their two children, Jack and Anya.

Jaff Shen co-founded the Leping Foundation and has incubated and invested in five social enterprises over the past 10 years. As a social entrepreneur, social innovation catalyst and ecosystem builder, Jaff introduced SVP – a venture philanthropy model – to China in 2013, to foster innovative ways to strengthen the financial markets, energize the talent market, and enhance thought leadership in the field of social innovation. With the goal of promoting the inclusive development of society through building an ecosystem of social innovation, Jaff became the Chinese publisher of Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR) in 2016, and introduced the B Corps Movement in China in 2017. And he was honored as “Social Innovation Thought Leader” by SCHWAB Foundation in 2020.
Mr. Shen holds a BA in Oriental Studies and a law degree from Peking University.

Amrin Amin is Head, Corporate Development at Temasek Foundation. Amrin also serves on the boards of Singapore Tourism Board and National University of Singapore Middle East Institute.
He was Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health, and Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC from 2015 to 2020.
Prior to political office, Amrin was a corporate lawyer in Singapore and New York. Amrin read law at National University of Singapore and Columbia University in New York.

Brian San co-leads the Institute of Philanthropy (“IoP”), which was established in September 2023 through a strategic seed grant from The Hong Kong Jockey Club and its Charities Trust—the largest foundation in Asia. As an independent “think-fund-do” tank, IoP is dedicated to reimagining the Asian philanthropic sector and catalysing its growth through thought leadership (such as the recently launched Commission on Asian Philanthropy), global health-climate funding partnerships, as well as convening and capacity building initiatives.
Brian brings extensive experience in business leadership and ecosystem development, across the education, philanthropy, family office and private equity sectors in Asia. Prior to joining IoP, Brian served as the Executive Director, Programmes and Strategic Development at the Wealth Management Institute, a non-profit education and research institute founded by Singaporean state investors GIC and Temasek. During his tenure, Brian established the Asia Centre for Changemakers, a centre dedicated to building capacity in the impact sector. He also developed a national network platform for family offices and led a comprehensive portfolio of education programmes covering investments, social impact, and family office management.
Prior to this, Brian held senior management positions within leading organisations in the Asian education sector, and served as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company.
Brian holds a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.
