Schwab Charitable (SC) is an independent public charity with a mission to make charitable giving simple and tax-smart for clients and their investment advisors. A SC donor-advised fund account allows investors to contribute cash or appreciated assets to a charitable account to realize the greatest possible tax benefits—and then support their favorite charities over time. Serving a wide range of philanthropic investors, Schwab Charitable’s accounts range in size from $5,000 to more than $500 million.
