The Rhode Island Community Foundation works to build a better Rhode Island as a philanthropic resource for people, communities, organizations, and programs. Founded in 1916, the Rhode Island Community Foundation is one of the nation's oldest and largest community foundations. It is Rhode Island's only community foundation and the largest funder of Rhode Island's nonprofit sector.
