New Media Ventures (NMV) is a non-profit seed fund and angel network investing in entrepreneurs and activists wrestling with the biggest challenges facing our democracy. NMV has supported more than 85 startups over the years – nonprofits and for-profits from Blavity to Vote.org, Attentive.ly to Indivisible and Pantsuit Nation. Projects in the NMV portfolio are working to build movements, create new narratives, and spark civic engagement. By changing where capital is invested, NMV works to shift the structures of power in the US to benefit more people.
