June 11, 2011 – Professor Rob Reich addresses the Class of 2011 on their role as Stanford graduates to do social good in whatever profession or sector of the economy they pursue. Reich lectures graduates that blurred lines between the private, public, and social sectors, and rapid technological change have altered how, where, and by whom social change happens. He asks the graduates to follow the Stanford mission and do good for society.

The Class Day Lecture gives graduates, the family and friends a unique occasion to experience what makes a Stanford education so special. For over 40 years, this event has featured a popular Stanford professor, delivering one last lecture at Commencement.
