Shane Muldowney

Shane Muldowney is a Research Coordinator at the Polarization and Social Change Lab. He graduated from UCLA in 2023, where he earned a B.A. with highest honors in Psychology. His research interests focus on the psychological dynamics that underlie and exacerbate political polarization, cross-partisan animus, and ideological conflict in the United States. In particular, he is interested in designing and testing interventions aimed at facilitating more productive communication across ideological divides.
