Nick Sherefkin

Nick Sherefkin is a graduate research assistant for the Civic Life of Cities Lab. Nick studies organizational behavior as a doctoral student in the sociology department. Before Stanford, he taught math at Sunset Park High School in Brooklyn and did program evaluations of education interventions at MDRC, a policy research nonprofit. His current research focuses on the relationship between a civic organization’s mission and how it interprets and responds to competition and growth.
