Lisa Overbey

Lisa Overbey is Associate Director of Research and Scholar Programs at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (PACS). She completed her PhD in international and comparative education at Stanford University. Her current research focuses global trends in education reform and organizational changes in higher education. Lisa also holds a Master’s degree in international relations and international economics  from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Prior to coming to Stanford, she worked in education and international affairs for the World Bank in Washington, D.C. and Berlin.
