Jonas Mueller-Gastell

Jonas Mueller-Gastell is a PhD student at the Stanford Economics Department. His research interests are broadly on areas interacting with prosocial behavior and civil society participation and engagement. He is currently working on projects studying the determinants of preferences for charitable giving and how group interactions may shape these preferences and influence actual donation decisions. Jonas also works on topics related to labor markets and how they interact with civil society, for example on the competition between the public and private sectors for qualified personnel or the (re)integration of soldiers into the British labor market.

Jonas holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, both from the University of Oxford.
