Gerui Wang

Gerui Wang manages scholarly workshops and global programs at Stanford PACS. She holds a Ph.D in history of art from the University of Michigan. Her research concerns the social agency of art, as well as the intersection between art and public policy. Her dissertation examines the landscape genre and the representation of public space in early modern China. Her recent project on historical photographs of Asia explores how artifacts and ideas flow and transform in cross-cultural encounters.
