Cristyn Filla

Cristyn Filla is the Program Coordinator for the Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative at Stanford’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society. Cristyn graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2016 with a B.A. in Anthropology and is currently working towards her Master’s in Library and Information Science at the University of Washington. Cristyn joined the team from the nonprofit sector where she was most recently a manager for the children’s literacy nonprofit First Book. Her experience also includes community engagement leadership at the Office of Community Engagement at the College of William and Mary as well as service as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar. As a member of the EPLI team Cristyn is interested in continuing to learn about the important role effective philanthropy can have on nonprofit sustainability and success.
