Chunchen Xu

Chunchen is a PhD candidate in Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her research areas include the social and psychological impact of technology, especially the increasing use of artificial intelligence in many sectors. She explores how technology is represented in our cultures and how people’s beliefs and worldviews affect their willingness to confront algorithmic bias. Chunchen’s other stream of research aims to understand how people’s self-concept affects their well-being in life.

Prior to Stanford, Chunchen completed her Bachelor’s degree in China. She also obtained Master’s degrees in Anthropology and in Human Resources and Industrial Relations respectively.
