Christian Burkart

Christian is a post-doc researcher at the Institute for Nonprofit Managementat WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). His research interests include humanitarian operations, logistics and nonprofit funding. He currently works on the Civic Life of Cities Vienna project with Prof. Michael Meyer, Florentine Maier and Berta Terzieva. Christian holds a doctorate in Social and Economic Sciences with focus on Humanitarian Supply Chain Management from WU and a Master in International Development Studies from University of Vienna. He spends his free time gardening with his family or volunteering at the Austrian Red Cross.
