Berta Terzieva

Berta Terzieva is a Ph.D. student at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Institute for Nonprofit Management. Her research interests include civic engagement of immigrants, bridging and bonding social capital, and diversity in NPOs. She is currently working on the Civic Life of Cities Vienna project with PD Dr. Florentine Maier.

Berta studied Sociology at University of Vienna and Socioeconomics at Vienna University of Economics and Business. Her prior work experience focused on higher education research, particularly on the social and economic conditions of students and underrepresented groups in higher education, such as students with health impairments and disabilities.

She is a passionate promoter of visiting and experiencing her home country – Bulgaria.
