Beleicia Bullock

Beleicia Bullock is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Department of Computer Science. She leverages human-computer interaction to understand the impact of social systems on the well-being of Black communities, and reimagine the design and values of such systems. In this vein, Beleicia has worked on projects ranging from understanding the experiences of Black content moderators who cultivate digital safe spaces to evaluating CS ethics pedagogies that may impact how students think about these issues in the future. Prior to Stanford, Beleicia completed her Master’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Bachelor’s degree at Bowdoin College.
