Aaron Tester

Aaron is a Postdoctoral Scholar with the Global Civil Society and Sustainable Development Lab. He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Sociology at U.C. Irvine in 2021 and was a 2019-2020 Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation Dissertation Fellow at U.C. San Diego. His research focuses on democratic governance, the environment, development, organizations, culture, and management. Here at Stanford, he examines how contested forms of governance shape efforts to secure environmental sustainability.
