Stanford PACS Joins the Graduate School of Education
The new academic year brings exciting changes to Stanford PACS that both build on our history and guide us firmly and strategically into the future.
We are pleased to share that our new academic home at the university is the Stanford Graduate School of Education (GSE). GSE is the current home of Faculty Co-Director Patricia Bromley, and our Center has deep ties with the School of Education, including affiliations with numerous faculty directors dating back to our founding. This is not by coincidence, as education is a cornerstone of civil society, and philanthropy plays a large role in the education sector as well. This new home will further reinforce our commitment to advancing philanthropy and civil society through research, education, training, and shared learning. As part of this move, you will find us in new offices in Wallenberg Hall on the north side of the Main Quad.
Amid these and other exciting developments to come, Stanford PACS remains firmly committed to serving as a global interdisciplinary research center dedicated to developing and sharing knowledge to improve philanthropy, strengthen civil society, and address societal challenges.
