Announcing the 2026 PACS-SCANCOR Seminar Series

Stanford PACS, in partnership with SCANCOR at Stanford, is pleased to announce a dynamic new seminar series exploring cutting-edge research on organizations and institutions. The 2026 PACS-SCANCOR Seminar Series: Organization and Organizing for Public Good will bring together Stanford faculty, visiting scholars, and guests from leading academic institutions across North America and beyond.

Featuring Stanford PACS alumni, the series will highlight new and emerging scholarship on how organizations function, evolve, and influence society for the collective good.

  • JANUARY 26: Yan Long, Associate Professor of Sociology, UC Berkeley
  • FEBRUARY 23: Dr. Samantha Bradshaw, Director of the Center for Security, Innovation & New Technology and Assistant Professor at American University’s School of International Service
  • APRIL 13: Consuelo Amat, Assistant Professor of Political Science, SNF Agora Institute
  • APRIL 27: Siwar Hasan-Aslih, Assistant Professor, Social Psychology, University of California, Santa Cruz

Presentations will typically be based on works in progress or recently completed papers, offering participants a chance to engage directly with authors through discussion and feedback. All seminars are offered online, and Stanford affiliates are invited to attend in person at Stanford University.
