The Upgrade Initiative is a collaborative effort to integrate digital skills and policy concerns into the core of nonprofit capacity building and encourage nonprofit engagement in digital public policy issues.

We created learning modules that include all the materials you might need to run a workshop with your own organization, without prior knowledge of the topic.

In this free 90-minute workshop, we will explain what algorithmic bias is, explore examples and work through case studies and scenarios to understand the potential harms it poses to your communities.
