Event Overview
Few things are more urgent to the promotion of global justice than improving education. More than 250 million children around the world are functionally illiterate and cannot do basic math. The Brookings Institution estimates that it will take 100 years for children’s average learning in developing countries to catch up to their developed country peers – unless we make drastic changes. Join a conversation of practitioners and scholars to discuss the main challenges involved in improving education worldwide and to consider innovative solutions, including the promise of technology to promote the sharing of best practices from around the world.
