Winnie Jiang

Winnie Jiang is an Assistant Professor at INSEAD, based on its Singapore campus. She received her PhD in Management from Yale University. Her research centers around the dynamics of meaning making at work, with a special focus on the experience of people pursuing meaningful work, especially in the social sector.

Winnie is currently working on several projects investigating how people make meaning of their work and career facing challenging situations, and how their meaning-making then influences individual well-being and organizational effectiveness. She has been conducting longitudinal studies using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies based on a variety of social issues and settings, such as massive shrinkage of journalism and resource constraint in refugee resettlement.
