Each year, Stanford PACS awards up to five fellowships to PhD students pursuing research to advance the study of civil society organizations and the role of philanthropy in promoting social change. Fellows spend their year immersing themselves in academic life at PACS, participating in the PhD workshop as well as other faculty-led programming. These opportunities allow fellows to share their on-going research while also receiving feedback from established and emerging scholars from different disciplines.
For the 2018-2019 school year, we are pleased to announce we will provide fellowships to support the research of the following students:
- Amos Espeland, Philosophy
- Lisa Hummel, Sociology
- Hajin Kim, Environment and resources (E-IPER)
- Jonas Mueller-Gastell, Economics
- Katariina Mueller-Gastell, Sociology
