Small Grants Program for Student Research

Eligibility
The PACS Center supports student research by awarding small amounts of grant funding to Stanford students on a quarterly basis. Typical projects include funding for undergraduate honors theses, master's students capstone projects and doctoral student research.
Funding
The small grants program will award grants from $500 to $2,500 to undergraduate and graduate Stanford students who are pursuing research in philanthropy or civil society. Eligible grant expenses could include database purchase, travel expenses, conference fees, telephone costs or other reimbursable expenses related to data collection and analysis.
Application Requirements
Complete applications will include the following:
- A curriculum vitae.
- A one-to-two page proposal describing your research topic and process.
- An itemized budget that explains what the funds would support.
- A letter of recommendation from your project advisor.
Deadlines
The deadline for submitting Winter Quarter proposals is February 11, 2013 (Spring Quarter will be April 12, 2013).
