Small Grants Program for Student Research

The PACS Center supports student research by awarding funding to current Stanford students on a quarterly basis.
The small grants program will award grants from $500 to $2,500 to undergraduate and graduate Stanford students who are pursuing research in philanthropy or civil society. Eligible grant expenses could include database purchase, travel expenses, conference fees, telephone costs or other reimbursable expenses related to data collection and analysis. Typical projects include funding for undergraduate honors theses, master's students capstone projects and doctoral student research.
Complete applications will include the following:
- A curriculum vitae.
- A one-to-two page proposal describing your research topic and process.
- An itemized budget that explains what the funds would support.
- A letter of recommendation from your project advisor.
The deadline for submitting Winter Quarter proposals is February 1, 2014.
