Laura Arrillaga-Andreessen, Founder and ChairmanLaura Arrillaga-Andreessen is the Founder, Chairman Emeritus and former Chairman (1998-2008) of SV2 (Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund), a venture philanthropy fund that leverages its partners’ financial, intellectual, and human capital to make a measurable impact in the Silicon Valley community. Maddy Stein, Vice ChairmanMadeline (Maddy) Stein is a retired teacher and an active Stanford and community volunteer. In 2007 she received the Governor's Award from the Stanford Associates' Board of Governors for her extensive volunteer service to Stanford. Darren BechtelDarren Bechtel is the CEO of Encapsule Medical, a privately-held medical device company focused on the development and commercialization of minimally invasive breast biopsy and tumor removal technologies. Encapsule was formed in May 2010, following the successful acquisition of the product portfolio of Rubicor Medical, Inc. As a former Rubicor engineer, Darren designed and developed what is now Encapsule's flagship breast biopsy device. Susan Ford DorseySusan Ford Dorsey is President of the Sand Hill Foundation, a family foundation established by the Ford family in 1995.
